Bed NY’s concept has a distinctive and fun characteristic that has developed and kept consistent within all the elements of this establishment. The concept and design of BEDNY by the owner himself Oliver Hoyos combines seductive Miami sophistication with modern New York City style.BED is an acronym for Beverage Entertainment and Dining which was the source of inspiration for the interior to consist of beds to dine on, this being part of the concept making it unique and interesting.

BED NYC has its own exclusive signature dishes and cocktails on the menu as well as its own style clothing. These elements further enhance its characteristics keeping it prominent in the discerning customers mind.

Location
It’s location is set in an industrial area of New York, which suits its design concept. You swiftly move from the street level and straight into freight elevator where a uniformed staff elevator operator is present at all times to meet and assist the guests.

BED New York has purposely created an oasis of calm in the middle of the industrial area.
Another key point of the location blending in well with the establishment is that BEDNY, is surrounded with other big and popular entertainment venues, this draws in the crowd that BEDNY is targeting as well as furthering BEDNY’s image and popularity.

Interior Design
The interior has to match the concept and over all identity, that helps your customers visually appreciate your identity in which to relax and be entertained.
BED NY consists of two floors, the main dining room and the rooftop restaurant and bar. Two grand rolling staircases connect both levels, meeting at the rooftop to combine a dramatic entry and exist.

Wide plank dark walnut flooring and back lit fabric walls lead you into the main restaurant. The fabric walls enhance the warm and “Bed” room atmosphere.Low slung and spacious is the 23 beds in the main dining room, which is under lit with warm tones and strewn with deep cushions. Decor further consists of; custom foil wall paper‚ Zebrawood bed platforms and goose down pillows are highlighted by a delicate colour palette of rose, lilac and ivory hues. These colours are very warm and stylish but yet stimulating, perfectly matching the idea of being in the bedroom as well as an entertainment venue.Bed has a fantastic ambience the low lighting and candle lit tables adds to the airy and stylish atmosphere. The music furthers the atmosphere and general mood. The music does alter as the evening progresses. The music is very important if you do decide to have music in your establishment, it has to match your scene and venue as well as furthering the sense of well being amongst a satisfied clientele.
