Restaurant Name:

The City is a Modern New York Bar.

Restaurant Concept and Idenity:

Studio D2 felt that turning this venue into just any modern bar may not be making the most out of its potential; there was more that could be done with the concept to fit the location.

The location was not suitable for just a modern bar, situated in an industrial area the ware house was a 15 minute walk from the main high street and tube station, tucked away and surrounded by all other businesses made it difficult to catch passer by traffic.

The concept was developed as follows: It was a business centre by day and an entertainment venue by night.

Studio D2 decided to develop a character and image for the establishment to fit the type of people that they were aiming for (this makes them feel part of the venue or rather feel more associated to it).

Bar Clientele:

The City Bar is aimed at attracting professionals and the young, trendly age group.
