The location of an establishment is one of the most important aspects in developing a concept and must not be overlooked.

You must ensure that your concept is compatible with the area and you must also determine whether it will work.

Location is typically defined as a geographic place. The close distance of that place to a targeted customer base makes it beneficial.

A fine dining concept would fit perfectly in one location but fail miserably in another for example a fine dining restaurant would fail located in an area where patrons are pressed for time and looking for a quick sandwich to eat.

Architecture is also influenced by location, different regions call for different architectural styles.
The geographic location can also affect kitchen design, in terms of its loading areas and storage; can their supplier deliver to them at that location daily or weekly if weekly then larger storage must be planned.
Studio D2 can offer the location research as a separate service and may be used if the client would like to further investigate in an area.
